Hector E. Zurita-Cruz

Trial Lawyer

Licensed in: Ca

Hector E. Zurita-Cruz is a bilingual trial lawyer who treats his clients with the utmost dignity and respect, fighting unwaveringly for their interests throughout the legal process. Hector’s compassion for his clients is deeply rooted in a personal understanding of their pain, having lost his older brother in a car crash.

Inspired to take action in honor of his brother, Hector attended Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he earned his J.D. and found his calling in life – to advocate for those who do not have a voice of their own, including injury victims and their families.

While attending law school, Hector served as Article Editor for the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. As an ASU Law Trial Team member, he was a semifinalist in the Regional Tournament hosted by the American College of Trial Lawyers in Tucson, Arizona. Inspired to make a difference in his community, Hector volunteered at the public defender offices of two major cities. In recognition of his service, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law awarded Hector a Pro Bono Service Achievement Award with the highest Pro Bono Distinction.

Born and raised in a small farm town in Othello, Washington, Hector is the proud son of Mexican immigrants who taught him the value of hard work by taking him to pick fruit in the apple orchards at the young age of thirteen. As a child, Hector witnessed his parents struggle to understand English, and he often translated for them. Fluent in Spanish and English, Hector now proudly assists CZ Law’s Spanish-speaking clients in telling their stories, ensuring their voices are heard.

When not helping clients with their legal needs, Hector enjoys spending time at the gym and beach.
