About
Vlad Idelman is a personal injury lawyer at Carpenter & Zuckerman. Since joining the firm in May 2023, Vlad has passionately advocated for individuals who have been wronged, focusing on achieving the best outcomes for his clients. He brings a unique approach to legal advocacy, intertwining the power of storytelling with litigation to connect with juries, judges, and clients.
Before practicing law, Vlad began his journey in the film industry, working with multiple production companies. For over 14 years, Vlad's work in film and media sharpened his ability to convey compelling narratives—an essential skill he now brings to the courtroom.
Vlad continues consulting with young professionals in the film industry during his free time. His journey reflects his belief that a great story can connect people from all walks of life, a philosophy he now carries into the courtroom. Vlad’s diverse background in media, business, and law equips him with the necessary skills to navigate complex legal challenges while connecting meaningfully with his clients.
Outside of his legal career, Vlad is passionate about traveling, attending live events, and scuba diving, having dove in six of seven continents. Since Vlad has two young children at home, he has less time for traveling but is just as excited about spending time with his wife and children.
Education
Vlad earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in December 2023, where he graduated cum laude, ranking in the top 10% of his graduating class. While in law school, Vlad expanded his legal expertise through an internship at a Beverly Hills law firm, focusing on personal injury cases. This role solidified his commitment to using the law as a tool to help others.
Vlad is licensed to practice law in California and has passed the Arizona Uniform Bar Exam. He is currently pursuing licensure in Arizona. In addition, Vlad is completing his Master’s in Dispute Resolution at the world-renowned Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine, with a projected completion date at the end of 2024. This specialized training equips him with a distinctive approach to resolving cases efficiently, often sparing clients the burdens of lengthy litigation and trial while minimizing costs and receiving maximum recovery for his clients.
Vlad also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from California State University, Northridge (CSUN), reflecting his passion for connecting people through storytelling.
