Outside of her legal practice, Shalini serves on the Women’s Board of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and the Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC) Board of Directors. In addition to her legal and charitable activities, Shalini was crowned Miss Nevada 2024, highlighting her commitment to leadership and public engagement.

Education

Shalini earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD), graduating cum laude from Western State College of Law in May 2023, where she ranked in the top 20 percent of her class. During her time in law school, she was the Managing Editor of Law Review, President of the Black Law Students Association, and a Dean’s Fellow tutor.

Before Western State, Shalini attended La Verne College of Law, ranking in the top 7 percent of her class. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she graduated in 2018.

Employment

Shalini brings extensive experience from her work at several prominent law firms. She has managed 60 to 70 catastrophic injury cases, achieving over $25.5 million in settlements. Her responsibilities have included taking and defending depositions, drafting pleadings and motions, attending mediations and arbitrations, guiding cases through every stage of litigation, and mentoring legal staff.
