About
Disha Bhagwat is a passionate California personal injury attorney determined to deliver justice to the wrongfully injured.
As a versatile defense litigator, Disha formerly defended billion-dollar insurance companies in diverse practice areas, including personal injury, catastrophic injury, complex construction defect cases, and complex tort claims. In her role as a defense litigator, Disha successfully assisted in limiting insurance companies’ liability exposure to the tune of millions of dollars per claim.
Disha grew tired of not acknowledging the injustice victims suffered in these cases. Her moral conscience, strong sense of empathy, and passion for justice ignited the need to represent real people facing real loss instead of advocating for billion-dollar insurance companies that are indifferent to the harsh realities of victims’ suffering. Disha’s prior experience as a defense litigator gives her the added advantage of anticipating defense strategies. Disha strategically uses this knowledge to keep her clients one step ahead, navigating their cases toward the best possible outcomes.
Disha enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle. She is an avid gym enthusiast who loves to play tennis on the weekends. Disha equally enjoys naps; life is all about balance!

As a first-generation lawyer who moved to Southern California in 2019, Disha pursued her Master of Laws in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Business Law from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law. She was elected Vice President of the Gould Dispute Resolution Society and Master of Laws Representative of the Business Law Society.
Before moving to the United States, Disha graduated from the School of Law, Christ University in Bangalore, India, with a dual bachelor’s degree with honors — Bachelor’s in Law (LL. B) and Bachelor’s in Business Administration (B.B.A). Disha’s journey thus far has molded her heart into an empathetic stronghold that drives her passion to ensure she stays true to her upbringing — to lend a helping hand to those in need, respect everyone, and fear no one.
