About
Christina W. Kim is a Los Angeles-based trial attorney at Carpenter & Zuckerman, representing clients in various personal injury matters, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation. With a strong command of litigation strategy and courtroom advocacy, Christina is known for her thorough preparation, sharp legal acumen, and tireless commitment to securing justice for those harmed by others’ negligence, misconduct, or wrongdoing.
A Los Angeles native, Christina brings local insight and deep community ties to her practice. She is fluent in English and Korean and serves a diverse clientele with cultural sensitivity and personalized representation.
Before joining Carpenter & Zuckerman, Christina worked for several Los Angeles-area litigation firms, handling a wide range of plaintiff-side matters, including medical malpractice, wrongful death, insurance bad faith, product liability, mass torts, and complex business disputes. As a senior associate at a litigation firm, she led a team of ten attorneys and staff, managing approximately forty active cases in state and federal courts. She has successfully represented plaintiffs in depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and motion hearings and has worked closely with experts to build and present compelling cases.
Christina’s litigation experience includes individual claims and nationwide mass torts, including representing victims of financial fraud through FINRA arbitration. She also has experience in contractual and commercial litigation. Early in her legal career, Christina practiced at a renowned Los Angeles firm, where she gained extensive courtroom and trial preparation experience.
During law school, Christina externed for two judges at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California—the Hon. Thomas B. Donovan (ret.) and Hon. Robert N. Kwan—and served as a certified law clerk at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, where she conducted and argued preliminary hearings.
Education
Christina earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, with a concentration in Civil Litigation and Advocacy. While at Loyola, she excelled in courses such as Civil Procedure and Legal Research & Writing and participated in the Hobbs District Attorney Clinic and the Young Lawyers Mentor program. She was admitted to the California State Bar in November 2018.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she was named to the Dean’s Honors List and participated in UCLA’s Travel Study Program in London, England.
