Megan Gyongyos

Senior Trial Lawyer

Licensed in: Ca

Megan Gyongyos is a trial lawyer at Carpenter & Zuckerman who has nearly a decade of experience handling civil rights, personal injury, and wrongful death cases in state and federal courts in California. She is a highly skilled litigator who is committed to getting the best results for her clients in each case she handles.

Prior to joining Carpenter & Zuckerman, Megan dedicated her career to the litigation of excessive force cases against police officers. During that time, Megan second-chaired 15 trials in state and federal courts in California, giving her invaluable experience that extends to every stage of a civil case. Through her work in excessive force cases, Megan was able to make a difference in the lives of victims of police brutality and their families, and she developed a passion for helping people cope with traumatic events that changed their lives on a fundamental level.

Today, Megan’s legal career is dedicated to obtaining justice for people who have been injured or killed as a result of the wrongdoing of others. Since the day she joined Carpenter & Zuckerman, Megan has brought the same level of passion, dedication, and commitment as when she was litigating excessive force cases.

Megan graduated summa cum laude from Southwestern Law School in May 2012, where she served as a Lead Articles Editor on the Executive Board of the Southwestern Law Review. She received a B.A. in 2008 from Arizona State University (ASU), where she also graduated with summa cum laude honors.

Megan was born and raised in Arizona. She moved to California to attend law school after graduating from ASU, and she is proud to call Los Angeles her home. When she’s not litigating cases at Carpenter & Zuckerman, Megan enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
